Based out of Hollywood, Ca., I have been performing consistently over the last 2 years after spending many years touring on cruise ships.
It's taken some time to walk the fine line between both my passion for music and the craft of acting. And now…?

I've found my voice as a creative artist, working both sides of that line. Writing music and creating theatrical pieces and performances that make a statement about this life and living we all share generates in me a joy that makes every step I take towards my dream an exciting one. Come and enjoy this journey with me.

It has been said that to truly appreciate the American dream, talk to an immigrant. It can also be said to truly, truly appreciate the paradoxes of American life, talk to the child born in America to said 1st generation immigrant. And to truly, truly, truly appreciate how those paradoxes can shape a confused, artistic minded, caught-in-the-middle-of-so-many-subcultures human being, you should probably talk to this guy.

Growing up, there were so many groups I was a part of that I could never truly be a part of: American (but not white), Filipino (but Fil-Am), political parties (raised by conservatives in a very liberal state), Catholic (but rebelliously spiritual), jock (but a performing artist), artist (but a hard-core jock), and it all happened in one of the most historical African-American cities in state completely dominated by white folks that also was considered to be the start of the backwoods Southern part of the country by those from the North and the begining of those city-slicking, Yankee idiots by those in the South.

This was also a time in American history when a child was born, their birth certificate had three options: White, black, and other. And since they had no idea what “other” was, guess which Filipino-American kid was legally black for the first 4 years of his life?

“Living In Between The Lines” is a look at America through the eyes of an outsider who has never been able to find a home anywhere. Through music and observations about the insanities that most just accept as part of their daily lives, this show investigates the how arbitrary the divisions most everyone just accept. And it asks, “What else could be possible if truly saw these as they are: Just a choice?”

(Spoiler Alert: Nobody cares. Everyone just wants to be right. We’re all f’ed.)

WHAT I LIKED

Great music. Great connection with the audience. I loved watching the performer build the songs on stage. SO COOL

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE

You feel bad for him sometimes. I don’t think that needs to be improved, but they’re making me write something in this box.

MY OVERALL IMPRESSION

I highly recommend this show to anyone who loves to be entertained. This show was written with great insight and took wonderful emotional risks on stage. You’ll laugh! You’ll cry! You get a few original songs stuck in your head!

WHAT I LIKED

Raw, intimate and a bit surreal. I’ve never experienced anything like this. I witnessed a master of the present moment. He fearlessly chose to embrace the unpredictable and be completely exposed. As a result, I was immersed in what was happening. He pushed all my buttons. Was he inspired by Andy Kaufman? Eckhart Tolle?

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE

NA

MY OVERALL IMPRESSION

My mind was blown and my heartstrings were shredded!
Nice vocals and very personable.

WHAT I LIKED

Real connection with the audience, excellent musicianship and tempo, great voice. A strong, confident, and joyful stage presence.

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE

One more song! Meanwhile, some adjusting of pacing might tighten things up.

MY OVERALL IMPRESSION

It’s got a good beat and you can laugh and cry to it. Songs and monologues woven together to touch on themes of being an outsider, an insider, and in-betweener. How to welcome others, How to let down your guard, How to search for your home, How to search within yourself, and How to keep on living—by being honest and hopeful every day.
